The burger chain -- which recently added Chick'n bites to its menu -- will open Feb. 12 at Wayne Town Center.
The 3,540-square-foot Shack will feature an outdoor patio and ample seating for guests. The Wayne Shack’s tabletops will be made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes. Chairs will be designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; and booths will be crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
The Shack will be serving up all the classics, as well as a unique selection of frozen custard concretes in collaboration with a local purveyor:
- Pie Oh My: Vanilla custard with a slice of It's Delicious Desserts seasonal pie
- Hopscotch: Vanilla custard, salted caramel sauce, Mast Brothers dark chocolate chunks and chocolate toffee
- Devil's in the Details: Chocolate custard, salted caramel, It's Delicious devil's food cake and almond sablé
The Wayne Shack will also be donating 5 percent of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete throughout the life of the shack to the The Jillian Fund, a financial resource for families and children battling life-threatening illnesses.
